The Council developed NACTVET Award Verification System (NAVS) to facilitate admission into Higher Learning Institutions for applicants with NTA Level 6 and equivalent qualifications in two different ways.

Firstly, to enable Diploma graduates aspiring to apply for Bachelor's Degree to verify their qualifications and update their information in the system. Thus, the holders of Diploma and their equivalences are given a unique identification number called Award Verification Number (AVN).

Secondly, it enables higher learning institutions to easily admit students with equivalent qualifications; it is easy to access the applicants’ information from one central point through the Institution Panel or API.
