The 2023 TVET Conference was held on 16th -17th May 2023 at the Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. The conference aimed to bring together stakeholders from the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to discuss key issues, challenges, and opportunities in global TVET systems. The objectives were to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation, with a focus on enhancing the quality and relevance of TVET programs to meet the needs of a skilled workforce.

The conference welcomed 177 participants from various sectors, including TVET institutions, private employers, international speakers, government ministries and departments, private sector representatives, non-governmental organizations, students, universities, and commercial banks such as NMB Plc.
