The Council in collaboration with other stakeholders organized and coordinated the exhibitions/showcases which were conducted from 16th – 22nd May 2023 in Arusha at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium. On 19th May 2023, the Hon. Prof. Adolf Mkenda (MP) the Minister of Education, Science and Technology officiated the 2023 exhibitions on behalf of the president of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan. 

In his address, the Guest of Honour commended NACVET for organizing such effective exhibitions which are crucial for stimulating skills development. He emphasized that in order to remain competitive in today's rapidly changing global economy, it is essential that individuals have the skills necessary to thrive in the workforce. Thus, skills development has become increasingly important for individuals and societies alike. He also articulated that the Government is finalizing curricula that will transform the education system in Tanzania. 

A total of 136 institutions showcased the products and services that they offer and were accommodated in 162 booths.  The categories of stakeholders included training providers, employers/industries, successful graduates, government agencies, entrepreneurs and companies.
